Developed a process to Fabric wrap a challenging 3mm section of the Google Pixel 5 Case Design

As the Pixel 5 approached its release, the case team faced a critical design validation challenge concerning a 3 mm section of plastic intended to be wrapped in textile. Initial handwork demonstrated the feasibility of this approach, laying the groundwork for advancement.

Subsequently, I came up with a unique soft-tooling method, allowing for a refined production process. Through a series of iterations, this technique yielded promising results, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal for the final product.

This collaborative effort ultimately solidified the design integrity and contributed to the overall success of the Pixel 5 case.
